Electronic communication protocols
When visiting web pages or reading HTML e-mails, information from you is automatically transmitted during connection setup due to technological reasons. This usually includes information on network access (from where you access), the device (hardware and browser or mail client), your IP address (may allow conclusions to be drawn about geographical location and company) and date and time.
We use commercially available techniques on our website such as cookies or tracking pixels (invisible graphics). They are used to make our website user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the Internet browser of the website user and enable the browser in question to be recognised. In addition to so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted as soon as you log out or close your browser, we also use so-called permanent cookies for the function “Remain logged on to this computer”, which recognize a returning user. Our cookies do not damage your computer.

Embedded Pixel and Tracking Technologies

We use the maatoo.io service on our channels for optimal communication with our customers. The maatoo servers of the provider 55 weeks AG, Busswilstrasse 16, 3250 Lyss, Switzerland are located in Switzerland.
maatoo.io places a persistent cookie on the respective login page, unless a maatoo cookie is already present on your device. Use of the integrated Support Chat lemtalk (formerly talkus.io)
Our integrated product support chat allows you to make a simple support request through us. The chat transmits personal data when used. Specifically, this includes first name, last name, e-mail address, IP address and location. In addition, the following usage data is collected: Current URL within the service, browser and OS used as well as language. This information serves the quality of product support and concrete troubleshooting in the event of an error. If no employee is available to answer your questions, you can leave a message. We store the communication that takes place with you in the subcontractors Slack Technologies and Talkus.io. Access to this data is only possible for authorized persons.

Information and data correction / deletion of data
Upon request, we will inform you at any time which data we have stored about you. If, despite our efforts to ensure that your data is correct, complete and up to date, we should ever have stored incorrect information, we will correct it immediately upon your request. Storage and deletion
The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective legal retention period. After this period has expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted unless it is no longer necessary for the fulfilment or initiation of the contract.
Security through technical and organisational measures
In accordance with Art. 32 para. 1 EU-DSGVO, we use technical and organisational measures for the security of data processing in order to protect personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. This data protection declaration is subject exclusively to Swiss law and must be interpreted accordingly. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from the use of this data protection declaration is Bern, Switzerland.
