Data about your company such as the name, size and location of your company and your role within the company.
Collection of usage data
In order to ensure a high level of security and optimum use of our channels and to optimise their availability, we store selected visitor usage data when accessing the channels. This usage data is not evaluated for the purpose of creating personal usage profiles.

How we collect information
The use of automated interactions by uhub.io can change in the course of technological change. The following describes in more detail how uhub.io currently uses the data captured in automated interactions.
Electronic communication protocols
When visiting web pages or reading HTML e-mails, information from you is automatically transmitted during connection setup due to technological reasons. This usually involves information about network access (from where you access), the device (hardware and browser or mail client), your IP address (allows conclusions to be drawn about geographical location and company) and date and time.
We use commercially available techniques on our website such as cookies or tracking pixels (invisible graphics). They are used to make our website user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the Internet browser of the website user and enable the browser in question to be recognised. In addition to so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted as soon as you log out or close your browser, we also use so-called permanent cookies for the function “Remain logged on to this computer”, which recognize a returning user. Our cookies do not damage your computer.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. Of course, you can delete cookies at any time using the corresponding browser function. If you delete cookies or set your browser so that it rejects cookies, this can impair the function of the website.
Personalized or embedded URLs
We may use personalized or embedded URLs that allow us to identify you without cookies. When you use an obviously personalized or embedded URL, personal information may be collected as you navigate our site.
Embedded Pixel and Tracking Technologies
We may use pixel technologies embedded in the electronic channels to identify individual user visits (as opposed to aggregate access) or for advertising purposes. Embedded pixels or other technologies can also be used in email and online advertising. In this case, they provide information about when an email or ad was opened and how effective marketing campaigns are. The information collected with these technologies can be linked to the recipient’s email address.
Third Party Advertising
See data protection provisions for interest-based advertising.
Information and data correction / deletion of data
Upon request, we will inform you at any time which data we have stored about you. If, despite our efforts to ensure that your data is correct, complete and up to date, we should ever have stored incorrect information, we will correct it immediately upon your request. You can contact our data protection officer with a description of your request at firstname.lastname@example.org
Storage and deletion
The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective legal retention period. After this period has expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted unless it is no longer necessary for the fulfilment or initiation of the contract.
Security through technical and organisational measures
In accordance with Art. 32 para. 1 EU-DSGVO, we use technical and organisational measures for the security of data processing in order to protect personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. The security measures in use are regularly checked and improved in line with technological developments.
Protection of minors
Persons who have not yet reached the age of 16 may not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their legal guardians. Personal information may only be made available to us by persons who have not yet reached the age of 16 if we have the express consent of their legal guardians or if the persons have reached the age of 16 or are older. This data will be processed in accordance with these guidelines.
If we process data in a third country (i.e. outside the European Union (EU) or one with the status of a secure third country on the part of the EU) or if this is done in the context of the use of third party services or disclosure or transfer of data to third parties, this only occurs if it is done to fulfil our (pre)contractual obligations, on the basis of your consent, a legal obligation or on the basis of our legitimate interests. Subject to legal or contractual permissions, we process or allow the data to be processed in a third country only if the special requirements of Art. 44 ff. of the German Data Protection Act are met. DSGVO. This means that the processing takes place, for example, on the basis of special guarantees, such as the officially recognised determination of a data protection level corresponding to the EU (e.g. for the USA by the “Privacy Shield”) or compliance with officially recognised special contractual obligations (so-called “standard contractual clauses”).
We ask you not to send or share any confidential personal information (e.g. social security numbers, racial or ethnic origin information, political opinions, religious or other beliefs, health, criminal history or union membership) with us.
Our data protection officer can be reached at email@example.com
